Reunion Information

The 2007 Reece Family Reunion will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2007, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the beautiful
Palmetto Island County Park in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina! (Click Here to Print a Park Map!)

Park Entry and Parking Info: On the day of the reunion, you'll need to pay a $1.00/per person entrance fee at the front gate,
and then follow the park signs directing you to the "Big Oak Shelter." There are plenty of "naturalized" parking areas directly
across from the shelter!

Driving Directions:

We've reserved a large covered pavilion in this wonderful low country park, where
there will be plenty of room, rain or shine!

Bring your fishing gear -- there's a floating dock and fixed dock, on a creek with
brackish water, for those who may want to fish. There's a large meadow for a family
softball game, a horseshoe pit, and a sand volleyball court -- so be sure to bring a
lawn chair, or blanket, if you want to be a spectator!

Nearby are two delightful playground areas, with lots of climbing toys and slides for
the kids, a large Observation Tower, as well as paved walking and bike trails that
weave in and out of the many scenic acres. Pedal boat and bike rentals are also
available.

Melvin Bessinger's Legendary BBQ with all the "trimmin's" will be served beginning
at noon! Please bring your favorite desert to share! Reece Family Reunion

Palmetto Island Park is a lovely place for a family gathering, so please plan to join
us for a fun-filled day!

"Reece Reunion" Tee-shirts have been designed with a logo Commemorating the 270th Anniversary Year of the Arrival
of the Snow Molly Ship. Shirts must be ordered and paid for by Feb 22, 2007 for pickup at the picnic! NOTE: On the
backside of the tee-shirt, the names and birth years of participating Reece Descendants will be listed in birth order.

If you are unable to attend the event, but wish to order a tee-shirt with your name listed on the backside, please place
your order before Feb 22, 2007, and we will happy to mail your shirt after the event.
